There is no fd device on a sparc 5. It doesn't interpret it as a device
anyway, it appears, as the boot prom prints:
Boot device: /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ide@3/disk@0,0:a File and args: fd
boot: cannot open fd
Enter filename [fd]:
which means it is looking for a file named "fd" on the hard drive.
