It will be imported into our source tree at some time, hopefully soon.
I think currently this would break VAX and powerpc due to different issues,
which will need fixing before the import can happen.

On the other hand it will fix at least four platforms (sparc64, amd64, hppa
and sh5, IIRC), so I'm all for doing it now ;-)
