Ok - That mean I will have to recompile the kernel I presume, unless
there is a special tool to modify this value rigth into the kernel on
the disk.
there is no tool. however, the kernel should be able to find it
automatically.... this is a bug we should try to fix rather than
work around in your kernel config :-)
