Ah, that's something entirely different. Do the cursor keys work
properly in an xterm? I have oddities with cursor keys doing the wrong
thing in some gtk apps too, like page up moves the cursor left. As far
as I can tell only gtk2 is affected, gtk1 and qt-based apps work
correctly.

If the keys send the right keysyms and they work in other apps that's a
bug in gtk, not XFree or NetBSD.
