After experimenting with 64-bit Firefox, I noticed it had some way to
go before I could comfortably use it. At least it compiles now on
sparc64, but there are still bugs:
- Frequent crashes
- Selecting "Save link as" on a link, brings up a dialog with "Cancel"
and "Open" buttons!! There is no way to save the link
After several hours of building www/galeon web browser, I was surprised
how good it was. It's standards compliant and seems to be a lot more
stable than Firefox. It's a shame I didn't try it out ages ago :-)
