Very interesting. Ok well that explains why i get nothing from the
db15 off the mother board.  'it's' the ati rage output.

So I wonder what on earth is running my monitor?
As in it's the video card I have obviously but I don't know what it is.

Can you spot it in this dmesg? It follows this.


Hey the original problem is i can't get X to work.

I get:

"no screens found"

what do i do please?

PS I have run sparcstation 5 and 2 etc and X just works
straight away with the sun architecture. I've never had to
configure it.
