Hi,
ich just tried to install NetBSD 2.1 sparc64 on a Sun Netra.
If i choose FFSv1 ist works, with FFSv2 i get
Executing last command: boot
Boot device: disk File and args:
NetBSD IEEE 1275 Bootblock
Invalid superblock magic
Fast Data Access MMU Miss
that seems to be a general bug in sparc64 (compare
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/netbsd-bugs/2004/07/10/0009.html )
I tried several options over and over again. One time i installed into
FFSv1 (everything was ok), after that i take the same disklayout and
just changed to FFSv2 and unpacked the distribution. Sysinstall did
not seems to make a complete newfs and (hopefully) just changed to
FFSv2. That works too!
Do i really have FFSv2 now, or do i still have a FFSv1?
How can i check this?
tnx Stephan 'Pitz' Pietzko
