Using file as wd0d
Hi!
Is 'file:/filename,wd0d,w' supposed to work as domU disk?
I tried this without any luck:
disk = [ 'phy:/dev/cd0a,cd0a,r', 'file:/filename,wd0d,w' ]
# dd if=/dev/zero of=/filename bs=1k seek=20480k count=1
# xm create -c /etc/xen/netbsd
Using config file "/etc/xen/netbsd".
Error: Adding extent to vbd failed: device (vbd (uname file:/filename)
(dev wd0d) (mode w)), error 8
I even tried with vnconfig but the kernel panic immediately:
disk = [ 'phy:/dev/cd0a,cd0a,r', 'phy:/dev/vnd0d,wd0d,w' ]
# dd if=/dev/zero of=/filename bs=1k seek=20480k count=1
# vnconfig vnd0 /filename
# xm create -c /etc/xen/netbsd
