I fetched new sources and compiled new XEN 3 DOMU kernel but it has problems
finishing the boot sequence.
The kernel is spitting out messages in like that in a loop:

piixide1:0:1 list interrupt
type ata tc_bcount: 1024 tc_skip:0
piixide1:0:0 list interrupt
type ata rc:bcount: 512 tc_skip:0

XEN 2 DOMU is running fine on the box and fortunatelly I kept it so I am able 
to access the system now.

The server has only one CPU:
cpu0: Intel (686-class), 3000.53 MHz, id 0xf43
and 1Gig of RAM with 2 pairs of SATA drives.
Each pair is set as RAID1 with RaidFrame.
