OK. I thought maybe it was indicative that something had been fixed in grub, 
just not entirely. And I suppose there is no easy way to test this without a 
clean build.

I guess I'll have to watch out on the next xen kernel update. I'll see if I  
can muster up something to submit to grub dev as it would be nice to be able 
to install xen from pkgsrc without contaminating the base fs structure and 
without having to decompress the image.
