bnx driver in 5.99.7 panics under xen 3.3.1
Good day folks,
I have a Dell PowerEdge 2970 which I'm hoping I can get setup as a dom0
to compliment my 1950's, but I'm running into some resistance with the
bnx driver.
I came across the same error when working with the 1950's, but found in
that case that I could increase dom0's RAM alloc to work around it.
This time around I've given dom0 2GB of RAM (out of 4GB in the box,) and
it still panics.
Also worthy of note, (although a separate issue) is the fact that Xen is
unable to reboot the box, an issue which also presented itself under
NetBSD. (See
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/netbsd-bugs/2009/01/27/msg008669.html)
I was going to open a pr, but thought there might be something I was
overlooking or forgot from last time I went through this.
Please find below a dump of the boot, "uname -a" from a GENERIC kernel
and my /boot.cfg.
As always, any insight or suggestions are most welcome!
Cheers,
Mike.
Boot output:
