tap and xvif devices

Hi all,

when I start a HVM enabled VM I got for every xvif nic one tap nic. One
of my VM config files shows the line:

vif = [ 'type=ioemu, bridge=bridge0' ]

I can't connect by the xvif devices anyway. The tap devices are working.

My question: Why do xvifX.Y devices exist when using "type=ioemu"?
