How do I issue the "C-]" command on a Mac keyboard to disconnect

Well, I just hit C-].
While I usually use iTerm I just verified that it works fine in
Terminal
too, so if you're having some sort of trouble (what exactly?) I

If I add a "Ctrl", it just doesn't issue anything...
Ah! Ok, you may be able to generate C-] via C-5 (Ctrl-5). It appears
to work in an xterm on my Mac here (doesn't work in iTerm or Terminal
though). Although I have a US QWERTY keyboard...
