I just build it from pkgsrc (HEAD) on a amd64 machine. No "netbsd32_compat40"
was needed. Funny enough I just realized that the grub binary itself is 32bit:

BTW: cpus = -1 didn't work for me:
vmware03# xm create -c nbsd

Ok.. I'll have a look into the docs and try to send you a diff against the xml,
although I have never used xml yet. ;)
