No, you said you'd need a HEAD kernel to get it working; I assumed
you tried a netbsd-5 kernel and it didn't work.
If you didn't try it, saying that a HEAD kernel would be misleading.

What I meant is that NetBSD 5.1 didn't work with this dom0, and that's not
related to Xen4. The same dom0 kernel with a 3.3 hypervisor and
a NetBSD 5.1 domU would certainly give the same result.
So saying that NetBSD 5.1 doesn't work with Xen4 is also not true
(I have NetBSD 5.1 DomUs running with a Xen 4.1 hypervisor and a
NetBSD-5 dom0).
