Nope. You can have a look inside xenstore, and compare the "slow"
interface with the "fast", new one you just created, and see if there
are differences between the two. Backend (found under /local/domain/0)
and frontend (under /local/domain/<domuid>). I would try that first.

BTW the slowness resolves after some time (like STP), or once you
noticed that it is slow, it remains that way the whole life of the domU?
