NetBSD v70/amd64 and XEN v45 troubles

Dear list-readers.

I have recently downloaded and installed NetBSD-7.0-amd64.iso
from iso.netbsd.org. Then I fetched the package source framework
v2015Q3 and xen{kernel,tools}45 which I build and installed.

Finally I copied amd64/binary/kernel/netbsd-XEN3_DOM0.gz (also
from the v7.0 iso-image) to the root directory. The problem is
that I cannot boot this kernel, it panics and the system reboots.

Because I have no serial port on the system and I am unaware of
how to log the boot messages, it leaves me a bit in the dark with
respect to troubleshooting.

As far as I can see from a shaken tablet recording of the boot
screen, the problem has something to do with:

then the screen blanks for a short moment and a lot of messages like
these:

occurs before the system reboots.

The odd thing is that if I try to boot the v615amd version of
netbsd-XEN_DOM0.gz then it runs as expected. I assume that the
DOM0-kernel supplied with v70 should work with NetBSD v70 and
compiled/installed XEN45, but apparently this is not the case.



Has anyone experienced the same behaviour with NetBSD70/XEN45?

Do I have to build my own DOM0 kernel if I want a newer version
than v615?

(Note however that even though the v615 DOM0 kernel boots it is
not working properly: the bridge0 device is not configured and I
have been unable to do so, and several xl commands (create, destroy
) coredumps without leaving any traces in /var/log/xen, so I
suspect that NetBSD/amd64 v70 with XEN45 and netbsd-XEN3_DOM.gz
v615/amd is not a viable solution).

Where do I find the netbsd-XEN3PAE_DOM0.gz kernel. Do I have to
build that myself?

What are the current stable versions of NetBSD/amd64 and XEN?
