I built xentools45 on both NetBSD 6.1_STABLE/amd64 (a DOM0), and
NetBSD 7.0/amd64 (a DOMU), both pkgsrc-2015Q3 and HEAD, with no
issues.

(the NetBSD 7.0/amd64 DOMU was a newly spun up system, using
distribution files from ftp.netbsd.org.)

What are the contents of your /etc/mk.conf??

Have you specified a custom compiler?

Otherwise, I'm at a loss.  I'd be happy to make my xentools42
packages available for you via ftp, if that would help.
