You can see that the hub in the keyboard attaches to uhub5 which is on usb1 which is one of the uhci companion controllers. ehci0 did get a "wrong number of companions"; it has 2 actual vs 3 expected, whereas ehci1 has 3. I am not sure the xchi controller works (it's on an addon card, installed under windows before I got the hardware and promptly conducted an exorcism).
