ifconfig.bridge0 looks like this:

create

!brconfig $int add wm0 stp wm0 up
!brconfig $int ipf

as well as in rc.local I have:

/sbin/ifconfig tap0 create
/sbin/ifconfig tap0 205.166.94.45 up
/sbin/brconfig bridge0 add tap0 stp tap0 up

So, yes stp is enabled.  Should both of these lines then be removed
or should they should be changed to something else?
