So I was just re-reading the latest HowTo and I was thinking about this need to always pass the "bootdev=" parameter to the dom0 kernel.... The tricky part is that it has to be manually specified. What if /boot could expand simple variables in menu command lines? menu=Xen:load /netbsd-dom0 bootdev=$bootdev .... That way one could have a stable /boot.cfg entry across a number of different devices with one less bit of duplicated configuration and they would all boot correctly. -- Greg A.
