	hello Greg.  If you can get a serial port on the thing and get xen to talk through that,
that will give you the most information.  What PCI devices are on the busses on this machine?
It's possible xen is tripping over one of those devices, something you probably won't actually
use when it's up and running.  Again, getting a serial console on the thing should give you
that information.  Since it's a server, does it have an IPMI  board with serial emulation?  If
it does, Xen can talk through that.
