re: CVS commit: pkgsrc

FWIW, when I had a copious source tree of my own which held various goofy
little utilities, I had them sorted out (this was back before the internet
was considered a browseable resource, i.e. pre-archie) into various areas
similar to the pkgsrc layout. I don't know that "commodities" would do
the category justice, since it's really just a euphemism for "misc" :-)

Considering that file browsers are going to start popping out of the wood-
work soon, I think, perhaps they should fall either under "fbrowser" or,
if, as I suspect, more "office-like" software is going to be appearing
(spreadsheets, WYSIWYG WPs, presentation manglers), under "officeware"
or some such (did that make sense?).

Short version: I would have put it under "fbrowser", "browsers" or
"officeware", and "commodities" is just a hoity-toity term for "misc",
if you think about it.

While we're at it, anyone want to consider a place for the WindowMaker
suite of things (dockapps and utilities)? Where, precisely, would
we put it?

[I would find such a collection useful, personally, but that's probably
just me. Still, to have them work under NetBSD would be great as I run
into so much Leeeeenux specific stuff.]
