Pull up revision 1.55 via patch (requested by ginsbach in ticket #5732):
Retain the euid of the target user whilst reading the
.rhosts file.  This allows it to have a mode of 600
and still function correctly even when used on an NFS
client with uid 0 mapped to another (anonymous) UID.

and fixes [bin/14880] from Darren Reed <darrenr@>.
