Thanks for that, Bill.

I asked around the people who knew about these things when I first
chose that date, and I chose March 1993, which was an informed guess. 
If you go to the RIPE entry, you'll see that the domain's creation
date is set to:

Created On:20-Mar-1994 05:00:00 UTC

However, since the NetBSD project had been around since February/March
1993, I thought that was tosh.  In retrospect, March 1994 may well be
correct, since in those days we tended not to register domain names as
the first thing that we did.

I'll leave it as-is until I get some more information.
