What's wrong with autri specifically matching only the device class it cares about?
(Yes, if_pcn.c probably could return a 10 for that match, too, but why can't autri play defensively, too?)
I have been thinking a lot about how autoconfiguration matching is done recently, and changing to match specific classes is one thing I've been considering.
