Sorry, no. Leaving aside the humor value of such a demand coming
from you of all people, this code was _long_ past due for removal.
More specifically, the code was incomplete, not being worked on, and
was undoubtedly well-bitrotted (can you point me to a single source
directory added since these changes were made which followed the
`new' conventions?). It served no purpose in tree, and had the
potential to do harm, both by confusing users of share/mk, and by
discouraging anyone looking at replacing the set lists who might
actually finish the job from getting started.
This code should not be re-added, and if it is to be worked on at
all, that work should happen on a branch or in a private repository
until the code is in a state to replace even the _current_
functionality of what we have, never mind enable any movement
forward. This was the precedent set by syspkg (which lived in a
private repository until it was possible to duplicate the
functionality of distrib/sets with distrib/syspkg), and it's just
common sense as well.
