I believe we are binary compatible.  I only put an unused structure
element to use, all the offsets to the structure elements are the same
as they were before my changes.  Most of the work was refactoring the
kernel internals to remove the statistics gathering from within the
disk struct and put it into it's own internal structure so other
devices could use it.
