After disconnecting AC adapter from my laptop, the discharge rate is
0 for a while.  If acpiapm_get_powstat() is called at that time, the
kernel is panicked at line 239 of this file.

[disconnect AC adapter]

acpibat0 discharge rate:      0.000 W
