Pull up following revision(s) (requested by macallan in ticket #474):
        sys/arch/macppc/macppc/autoconf.c: revision 1.50
        sys/arch/macppc/macppc/machdep.c: revision 1.144
use properties to pass additional data to the console device,
like static EDID, framebuffer parameters etc.
