Here is what I have been told: with a roughly PAL sized video (640x350) on a
dual core box, trying to scroll through the video or trying to exit Xine
causes it to stall (it does not respond quickly enough). Presumably there
are a number of threads split between UI/decoding. I'm putting a monitor on
my development machine and trying to find a VCD that I can actually read.
