It has always struck me that core is a less precise term, and has a
strong connotation of a reusable library which might or might not be
used on a part.  In NetBSD, we are concerned about a logical CPU entity,
and how it was manufactured is not that important.  So I'd like us not
to use "core" very much.  Plus, some of us are old enough to have used
core memory :-)
