src/tools/host-mkdep/Makefile should not have been included in that
commit.  It should have been committed separately with a different log
message, saying:

        Add a comment to the Makefile explaining that we do not
        use HOST_AWK here, because tools/host-mkdep is built
        before tools/awk.
