I did see announcements that softdep would be removed in NetBSD-6, but
I don't remember discussion or an announcement about removing it right
now.  I would have preferred to see a delay of a few weeks in between
wapbl working properly and softdep being removed.

There is a window of a few minutes between the commit that is supposed
to fix a lot of wapbl problems, and the commit that removes softdep.
For people who want to test one major change at a time, and who
therefore want a system from in between these two commits, a suitable
incantation is

        cvs update -D"2009-02-22 20:15 UTC"
