I thought of EXCLUDE_DIR, too. I was also experimenting with
EXCLUDE_TOP_SUBDIR and EXCLUDE_HERE_SUBDIR, but it occured to me that
for all that typing, you may as well just type the full path on the
command line all the time. What do people think?
