I agree 100% on all points. However CVS is the tool currently used by
NetBSD core developers and as such it is the only tool which satisfies
that latter half of my statement -- i.e. it is the best (only real?) way
for third-party NetBSD developers to use to track and investigat the
details (diffs, commit comments, tags, etc.) of changes to NetBSD.
In any case it's in the source tree and builds in -current, and has been
so since 2000/09/04. :-)
