I am currently evaluating evaluating various process thread libraries
for an embedded project I am working on. I would appreciate some
feedback from anyone who has used the various libs and there
experiences.
The project is using an embedded PowerPC (8260) processor.
1. What is the best threads lib to use with NetBSD ?
2. How portable is it?
3. How reliable is it?
4. How easy to use is it?
The various libs I have found so far are under the pkgsrc/devl
1. lwp-1.6
2. mit-pthreads\
3. pth-1.4
4. ptl-2.1.7
5. unproven-pthreads-017n62
Are there any others avail?
Thanks in advance
