I've never ever seen even the barest hint of reasonable rationale for
using a tab instead of a space beteen the "#define" and the macro name
which follows it.

(I say any claim that doing s/define/undef/ will make it look ugly is
bogus, especially since the likelyhood doing exactly that is about nil
in the majority of uses of #define.)

As for using one or more tabs after the macro name, well that makes
sense if one wishes to line up the values on a common column for a
number of adjacent definitions.
