The NetBSD curses is the original BSD curses with updates and
enhancements. The aim is to have NetBSD curses comply with all of the
Open Group susv2 curses specification. I believe we are now there in
terms of implementing all the function calls. We have also added some
ncurses extensions to better support pkgsrc applications.
Wide character support was added as a Google Summer of Code project.
