Two more data points: Disabling all the mcx(4) hardware options does not 
make a difference, and there are no obvious related differences between 
the netbsd-10 dev/pci/if_mcx.c rev. 1.25.4.2 and the upstream (OpenBSD) 
rev. 1.119.
