I have a Compaq Deskpro EP here running as a mail, nis and nfs server. But
since I inserted a new disk 3 weeks ago it has crashed on me twice...
It used to run like a clock, and have never crashed before...

Oct 16 07:24:10 mailserver /netbsd: wdc1(0): lost interrupt
Oct 16 07:24:10 mailserver /netbsd: type: ata
Oct 16 07:24:10 mailserver /netbsd: c_bcount: 8192
Oct 16 07:24:10 mailserver /netbsd: c_skip: 0
Oct 16 07:24:29 mailserver /netbsd: wdc1(0): lost interrupt
Oct 16 07:24:29 mailserver /netbsd: type: ata
Oct 16 07:24:29 mailserver /netbsd: c_bcount: 7168
Oct 16 07:24:29 mailserver /netbsd: c_skip: 1024
Oct 16 07:24:29 mailserver /netbsd: wdc1(0): wdcintr: timeout waiting for
unbusy
Oct 16 07:25:19 mailserver /netbsd: wdc1(0): lost interrupt

And so on until it crashes...

Could I have misconfigured the hardware in this machine in some way, or may the
IBM
disk I bought for it be "to new"? Would uppgrading to 1.4.1 be an option?
