I was going to say as much and also mention that despite this fact I
seem to remember a change to it not so long ago that caused a build to
blow up until it was manually re-installed. I'm not 100% sure about
that what with all the other similar events that I'm not confusing
asn1_compile with one of the others.... :-)
If my memory is accurate perhaps my wording would better have been
"ill-defined output formats" :-)
