I agree rc.pwd_mkdb is not a very good choice, but please give me
alternative ideas.

The .conf file has a problem: I have no idea about what we could add to
it. This hook script will be completely site specific.

What about pwd_mkdb.local? It's a nice name, you undestand immediatly
that it works like rc.local, but for pwd_mkdb: run after pwd_mkdb and
it's site specific.
