	I don't believe there's a daemon for utmp->utmpx conversion, from
	Solaris 2.8 manpage for utmp(4).  i shouldn't paste the content here,
	so please go see it yourself.  i understand your point, about issues
	with old binaries that can potentially damage (new-format)
	/var/log/utmp.
