I just stumbled across Solaris patch 111098-01:
Synopsis: SunOS 5.8: ROC timezone should be avoided for political reasons

Files included with this patch:
/usr/share/lib/zoneinfo/Asia/Taipei
/usr/share/lib/zoneinfo/ROC

Does anyone know what's the rationale behind this? Should we care?
Should we remove them, too?

There's a problem description number (4411173), but I don't know how to
access that. Maybe someone does, and can shed some light on this?
