No.
NetBSD doesn't use terminfo.

I don't think so.

I heard two reasons for this:
1) terminfo is not extensible the way termcap is. with termcap, you can
add arbitrary capabilities. you cannot do this with terminfo.
2) terminfo is sysv, termcap is bsd.
