Yes, but as far as I can tell it does not do so in any way that's truly
interoperable with any other implementation.
Better multi-volume archive support is available in pkgsrc/archivers/star
because NetBSD's 'pax' implementation does not yet support the new
extended archive format necessary for multi-volume support.
