your sysctl(8) is not working. that means you upgraded from a kernel
built from sources dated between 2003/12/04 and 2004/03/24 to one
built from sources dated after 2004/04/25. see /usr/src/UDPATING.
you need a new libc and a new sysctl binary.
or a slightly older kernel.
