Is there a deeper reason for fortune having two datfiles, fortunes
and fortunes2? The only thing I can think of is small systems where
one would only want to install the smaller datfile, but that's
about it.

  I see that FreeBSD has merged those two files and I would like
to follow that example -- maintaining different files is a hassle.

  Are there strong opinions against that plan?
