This "parse" is a typo of "parser".
What I meant is:
The boot loader has to include the parser for the boot prompt anyway,
so there shouldn't be any problem to use the same parser for the
configuration file too. And actually it's desired to use the same
parser, otherwise you cannot change some options of the configuration
file at the boot prompt.
